Torre dels Lleons was built in the 19th century on the ruins of the Picalqués Castle, located in the municipality of Esplugues (Barcelona), just 10 minutes from Barcelona city center. The name has been in use since the 12th century.
Torre dels Lleons features the characteristics of the great Catalan country estates and retains its stately air, highlighted by the coat of arms of the ancient Picalqués family, which can still be seen on the entrance door.
